Organika Korean Red Ginseng

Chinese Medicine is based on the principles of Yin and Yang. Yin represents the cooling, passive and storing aspects of the body's operation, while Yang represents the heating, energy and metabolic aspects. In Chinese Medicine, health is maintained by affecting a balance between these two opposites. Through gradual and continual use, the ginseng is said to supplement and stimulate the Yin and Yang depending on the type of ginseng used.

Yin

American ginseng is considered to supplement and stimulate theYin. It is alleged to have a cooling effect on the body, and is used more by the young, the agitated, those in warmer climates and those suffering from fatigue and debility.

Yang

The heating or stimulation effect of Korean ginseng is considered to be beneficial to those individuals who are in a state of imbalance because of aging, intense or extended physical exertion, exposure to a cold climate, or physical stress resulting from poison, alcohol, life situations, and hormonal changes such as menopause. Alleged benefits to Korean ginseng include higher levels of energy.

RECOMMENDED USE OR PURPOSE: Traditionally used to increase energy in periods of fatigue and debility.

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS – EACH CAPSULE CONTAINS:

Korean Red Ginseng Root Powder (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) ……………………… 500 mg

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin (Capsule).

RECOMMENDED DOSE – (ORAL) ADULTS ONLY: Take 1 capsule 2 times per day with meals.

DURATION OF USE: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.

CAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner if you have hypertension, acute illness, have unstable hormone cycles, or are currently on a stimulant; or are taking Ephedra-containing supplements. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking anticoagulant / antiplatelet drugs; are diabetic; or are suffering from Schizophrenia or cardiovascular disease. Do not use if you have hypoglycemia; are pregnant or breastfeeding; are suffering from any bleeding disorders or seizures; are taking immunosuppressive medications; or have hormone sensitive conditions. Do not use prior to surgery. Discontinue use if you experience gastrointestinal upset, headaches, dizziness, palpitations, constipation, or allergic reactions.
