Source of/Provides antioxidants. Helps to temporarily promote relaxation. Withania somnifera is traditionally used in Ayurveda to balance aggravated Vata nervine. Used in Herbal Medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress (e.g. in case of mental and physical fatigue related to stress). Contra-Indications

Do not use this product if you are pregnant. Do not use this product if you have bipolar disorder or bipolar spectrum disorder. Do not use if you are allergic to members of the Lythraceae family.

Known Adverse Reactions

Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Stop use if you experience irritability or insomnia. May cause heartburn, shaking hands, perilabial numbness, sexual dysfunction and thyroid dysfunction, and headache, in which case discontinue use.
