Saffron is a well-known culinary herb used for centuries. Recent research indicates that saffron can help support a positive mood, a relaxed attitude, and may also promote restful sleep. In addition, it may help support a balanced immune response and is a powerful free radical neutralizer. NOW uses only whole saffron stigma powder, not an extract.

Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule daily with food.

Each capsule contains:

Saffron (Crocus sativus) (Stigma) (minimum 10% Crocins) 50 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Veg Capsule (hypromellose, water), Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Silica.

Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you are taking blood thinners/anticoagulants, antiplatelet medications or have bleeding disorder. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking serotonergic drugs or antidepressants or if you suffer from any psychological disorder and/or condition such as frequent anxiety or depression.
