AOR Magnesium Glycinate 90mg 90Vcaps*
AOR Magnesium Glycinate
Magnesium is a mineral that is involved in over 300 biochemical processes in the body. One of its most important functions is that it plays a key role in producing energy and maintaining muscle, heart and nerve function. Unfortunately most people do not have sufficient levels for optimal health, as studies suggest that 50-90% of people are deficient in magnesium. Muscle stiffness, chronic irritability and fatigue are common signs of deficiency.
Glycine is well known as a calming amino acid, and is combined with magnesium in Magnesium Glycinate. This combination is easily absorbed and does not have a laxative effect like some forms of magnesium. Due to the calming and relaxing effect of both glycine and magnesium this combination has been used successfully for chronic pain and muscle tension, as well as to help improve sleep quality.
Magnesium Glycinate is a chelated magnesium supplement that offers superior absorption and gastrointestinal tolerability. Magnesium Glycinate is ideal for quickly correcting magnesium deficiencies and is especially helpful for people with insomnia, anxiety, muscle tightness and chronic pain.
We are using MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE DIHYDRATE-11.7 % MG-FULLY REACTED which is a fully bound chelated mineral. Fully reacted is a term commonly used by the mineral industry, to denote a fully bound material. In this particular case it denotes a 2:1 ratio of glycine to magnesium, and the molecular formula is C4H8O4N2Mg?2H2O . Partially reacted, conversely, is a term usually used to describe a material that does not react the mineral salt in its entirety. They are formulated by not using the proper ratio between the mineral and ligand. These kinds of products are also described as not fully bound, or fortified.
