NOW Pumpkin seed oil is standardized to contain a minimum of 55% of the essential Omega-6 fatty acid, Linoleic Acid (LA) versus other brands that typically contain about 47% LA. Pumpkin Seed oil is often considered the Omega-6 oil of choice for men over 40.
NOW Pumpkin seed oil contains an appreciable amount of unsaturated fatty acids (up to 80.0%) and is dominated by four fatty acids: palmitic C16:0 (approx. 11%), stearic C18:0 (approx. 7.0%), oleic C18:1 (approx. 25.0%) and the essential Omega-6 fatty acid, linoleic C18:2 (55.0%). The oil is also rich in vitamin E, including both gamma-tocopherol and alpha-tocopherol (3 mg/100 g)
